HS Night 2012: A Night To Be Remembered

A smile is the best make up a girl can wear.
I like the way how most of us shopped for our clothes, shoes, and accessories together. Almost all of us agreed to wear dresses which we rarely do. The theme for our HS Night was "Heroes In Us" and we were supposed to be or encouraged to cosplay but I guess it was too mainstream to do so. But some actually did, and it looked alright.

When the day of our High School Night came, I got lazy so I was having second thoughts if I would attend or not. I decided to just go because first of all, I had a dress already and my friends were going too. I shouldn't miss the fun with them, should I? Plus, some of Ateneo de Davao University and Xavier University's JAM players joined the HS Night. A short program was a held, and then followed by the disco. The music was better than last year's HS Night because last was accordingly, "seko." The lights were alright but sometimes they hurt in my eyes. I danced with Faber and Piggies first and for the rest or most of the night I already danced with someone special :)). As I've mentioned earlier, ADDU and XU's players joined the party. Sometimes, I really just can't believe how much my best friends can be crazy enough to offer the guy himself a dance but it was fun! They were worth it. Actually, I think all of them danced with most of the players who joined in the disco. I guess, I was the only one who did not dance with the players because I just didn't feel like it. Wala lang. There were some guys who approached but what I did was I pulled (not really literally) some of my friends so that the players will end up dancing with them and not me. Sorry, for not taking the chance xD

Seeing my friends having fun, laughing at their crazy moments, and dancing with him was what made my High School Night 2012, a night to be remembered

JAM 2012: Hotness Overload

I don't know if the JAM players were really that hot or they were just popular that's why girls fan girl over them. I've 'fan girled' about them but not to the point that it gets annoying already. Well, I can honestly say that some of them were handsome but I think we all forgot that there are also GIRL JAM players, not only boy JAM players LIKE Kiefer Ravena and Kris Porter.

My first day of December 2012 was so...I don't even know how to describe it because I don't believe that words like 'fun,' and 'exciting' are even enough! December 1, 2012, for me, was just plainly indescribable because of overwhelming happiness. I think that the Jesuit Athletics Meet 2012 really got my attention and was striking enough for me because of the presence of these famous basketball players. Seriously, the mpcc was so full every time the Ateneo de Manila University Basketball Team plays! Kiefer Ravena got my attention, not only because he was handsome and cute, but also he plays so well. It was alright that I didn't get to have a picture with him because I got a picture with Kris Porter and Von Pessumal. Talking about pictures, I swear my Facebook news feed, Twitter timeline, and Tumblr blog were literally full of pictures of girls with JAM players (actually, until now)! I didn't want to post my pictures with them because I believe it got annoying at some point too. It was humorous to see the faces of some girls 'fan girling' over the players because they can be really desperate sometimes. Well, if you can imagine, some of their faces were like this...
image
"YES! I GOT A PICTURE!"
"OMYGOSSHH, HE'S SOOO GWAPO"
Here are some JAM players who really got my attention:

  1. Kiefer Ravena
  2. Kris Porter
  3. Von Pessumal
  4. Earl Murphy
  5. Sean Africa
  6. Eric Dulay
  7. Rr Austria (I'm not sure if this is correct, I guess)

OKAY, I'LL NEED TO SWITCH TO SUPER FAN GIRLING MODE.
I was called because I needed to check the attendance for our class (since I'm the class beadle) so I went to find Ma'am Tuangco. They were in the back portion of the MPCC, sitting on the bleachers. Ma'am Erl, Ma'am Dane and a few of my classmates were there. When I checked my attendance, a guy approached and said something like (if I remember it correctly), "Hala lagot, late ka na! Hindi nagsign ng attendace." We just laughed because we thought it was my guy classmate but it was one of the players of the Xavier University's Basketball Team in College. Then, some of them talked to us and I saw this guy with a yellow Fubu shirt. He's gwapo ♥o I asked Ma'am Erl who he is then after that, we took a picture together. Here it is :))

I wonder why I got attracted to him way better than Eric Dulay or Sean Africa (I just don't know why!). I realized that he was REALLY cute (pardon my words), I was like...
                                            image
When they were about to go, few of the basketball players came back and asked us if we wanted some stickers. Of course, we willingly got it and said "Thank you."

For girls:
ADMIT IT. You were amazed by them and maybe even just for once or uncountable times, YOU WERE FANGIRLING OVER THEM! *high five*

For boys:
I guess, you guys will be thinking something like, "Andito naman ako," or "Mas gwapo pa ako diyan." because I experienced some guys telling me those! Sorry but our attention was on the hot JAM players during that time and some of us can't get over until now. Maybe you found it annoying. AWWW DON'T BE JEALOUS. HAHAHA >:))

I believe the JAM players had a great time here in Zamboanga and in Ateneo because they kept on tweeting about it on Twitter! WE ALL CAN'T GET OVER. But we need to move on but it will never be forgotten, WELL DUH :))
I can say that the JAM 2012 is so far the most unforgettable event that happened during the Ateneo Fiesta.

Papers, Scissors, and Glues

I am once again artistically challenged.
Plate No. 2: CandyMag cut-outs
I had to cut out some Candy Magazine 'words and pictures' because we already threw all of our old magazines. The only old magazines that were left were Cleo, Vogue, and Candy so I didn't have a choice (since my mom didn't want me to cut out pictures in Cleo and Vogue). I did not have a hard time covering the drawing book because I like to cover my books and notebooks and so, I got used to it already. I really love covering because I

Plate No. 3: LAEziness
I was too lazy to design my first page with an effort because I guess I put too much effort on covering the drawing book plus I was already sleepy while designing this! But still, I was satisfied with the result.

Plate No. 4: Basics
A. I decided to create a city full of buildings using RECTANGLES. There was even a black factory with a smoke on top of it.
B. I made different sizes of SQUARES, stick it altogether to form a tilted square, which looks like a diamond.
C. The first image that came into my mind was Mickey Mouse because I love Disney so I chose to make it through CIRCLES. I made one big black circle for the face and two red small circles for the ears. I also made its eyes and nose. My first try of making a circle was such an epic fail. It turned out to be a flower.

D. I enjoyed doing the STARS because I love the shape itself. I love heavenly bodies. Staring at them during the night makes me feel better.

Plate No. 5: Expandables
A. The first time I did the EXPANDING RECTANGLES were also a failed one because it didn't expand at all but Ching helped me so I was able to do it properly already.
B. Basically, making EXPANDING SQUARES were easy because you just have to make a square and do the same thing with the rectangles so I didn't have a hard time with this at all.
C. My patience was surely tested when I did the EXPANDING CIRCLES because of the way you cut it for the circle to expand.

フードパラダイス

If you're wondering what my title means, it's "Food Paradise" in English. I wanted you to wonder. Hihihi :3
 I drew the following:
    • Nutella
    • Strawberry
    • Ice Cream
    • Cake Roll

They have one common characteristic; they are all delicious foods. Do you want to know something about each of them?

  • Nutella - Hazelnut Spread with Skim Milk and Cocoa, 13oz (371g). Nutella is a great tasting hazelnut spread that blends fresh hazelnuts, skim milk, and cocoa. Nutella is great on any kind of bread or just by itself. USA. ©Amazon
  • Strawberry - A sweet fleshy red fruit.
  • Ice Cream - A smooth, sweet, cold food prepared from a frozen mixture of milk products and flavorings, containing a minimum of 10 percent milk fat and eaten as a snack or dessert. ©TheFreeDictionary
  • Cake Roll -  a flat pastry or cake rolled up with a meat (sausage roll), jam (jam roll), or other filling. ©TheFreeDictionary

I drew it because honestly, I was hungry during my TLE class yesterday. They are all my favorite foods. I consider it as my inspiration because I need food when I study. I can't live without food, DUH. I become more energetic and inspired when I eat my favorite foods. Though, I get so hyper when I eat any kind of chocolate so beware if you don't want to experience how hyper I become. It motivates me to study when I have food.

I'm a happy kid and let's all eat!

Challenge Accepted

I don't really know if this should be posted in English or in Tagalog but I'll go for "Taglish" so that I'll be able to express my feelings, perspectives, experiences, and etc. better.

  • If I compare JavaScript and Webscripting to my first year lessons, I studied more using the computer, to be specific with the Notepad and W3schools (If you want to learn HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, etc., this website is good).
  • I can't believe I once called my brother on a Monday morning just to ask him an answer in my assignment.
  • I was really challenged by my 1st semester lessons in TLE, though I enjoyed it.
  • I crammed our html website which is our 1st Quarter Project! This is a "first-time."
  • Nadala na ako so I didn't cram our Interactive website which is our 2nd Quarter Project. I seriously hated WebNg nung maayos ang codes sa Notepad pero kapag ilagay sa WebNg, sira-sira. I passed our project (the websites we did are our articulated group projects in Math and TLE, so basically the content is about our Math lessons) earlier kasi isa sa mga group mates ko ay nagahabol ng exemption sa 2nd Quarter Math Examination namin.
  • I experienced my first ever hands-on TLE quarter exam! I was really nervous. Luckily, I got the Set D which is 'said to be' the easiest (I think it is).
  • When my 2nd Quarter JavaScript and Webscripting lessons were finally over...
    YEEES! =))
Though, I am really expecting na ang "JavaScript" ay magiging "Java" na next year.
This was a nice semester since I really experienced a lot of "first-times."
Thank you, Ma'am Tuangco for teaching us!
